You’ve found and bought your restoration project, it’s in the garage and you are itching to get cracking. Enthusiasm abounds and you just want to get stuck in. A long weekend and you will have most of it apart. In three months you will be driving your dream on the open road. Unfortunately it doesn’t always work out like that. Three months turns into three years and the remove parts and the chuck in a box approach to the strip down now has you confused about what goes where. Worse, there’s a growing pile of parts you don’t recognise.
We’ve all done it, not necessarily with restoration projects, even repairs and modifications that take a long time can cause similar chaos.
These are some quick adjustments and tips for the B1 liquid cooled minimoto that I have found helpful.

A pocket bike is getting to be more and more popular for people. With so many of the manufactures bringing new ideas to the bike trend, there are so many bikes to choose from to fit your style. When you are buying a pocket bike, you have to do a little research before you agree on one certain kind.
One of the most important facts about buying a pocket bike is to find a high quality product at a great price. You want to get the most for your money and have a bike that will last a long time for anyone to have. There are gas and electric pocket bikes to choose from. You need to determine what style and brand that you want and then do the shopping to find the best prices around.
With the sudden influx of pocket bikes, many Americans may believe that this is a new sport. But small, motorized bikes have been around since the 50’s. They appeared soon after mechanized racing karts became common. There were goofy contests such as “jousting.” Two riders would ride at each other while holding rolled up newspapers and try to pop a balloon tied to their opponent’s helmet. After the 60’s, the mini bikes became relatively rare in the states.
During the 70’s, pocket bike racing became a serious sport in Japan. They used inexpensive and low-tech bikes for racing. In the 80’s the Italians took the sport up a notch and began racing better quality, high-tech bikes. Still, the bikes they first used were powered by relatively weak engines with no more power than an electric screwdriver.
Well winter is here and we were warned. Back in October the TV weather teams told us that this winter would be the worst for many years. Some quoted the worst for 10 years and some did the usual and quoted the worst ever.
Already we have seen the gridlock in the UK and many motorists stranded overnight as they were caught out by snowstorms. The next day the TV weather teams are on the news saying we told you so, and for once I am on their side. So the message for this winter when driving is this, make sure you check the weather reports regularly, at least each night before you go to bed. If it states snow then be prepared the next morning to leave earlier or have plans to cancel.

Pocket bikes are so much fun. They are designed in a class and style of a mini motorcycle. They are well built with an aluminum or steel frame and will be a fun and sleek style of bike. They are not incredibly fast, but will have speed enough to get over hills and have a lot of fun. It will depend on the size and weight of the person riding the pocket bike to decide how fast it goes. There is lots of fun to be had and so much to learn when you get one of these bikes.
They are smaller in size and can be enjoyed by many different people. A pocket bike is going to give the same feeling as a motorcycle only a lot smaller and a little slower. Pocket bikes are becoming a large trend in the bike world today. There are so many dealers and competitors out there that you can choose from the ones that you want with no problem. It is always a good idea to do some research so that you find the perfect bike for you and your needs.
A pocket bike is a great way to have fun no matter if you are child or an adult. There is a lot of fun to be had when you are driving one of these fun motor vehicles. However you have to make sure that you are practicing great safety measures so that everyone involved is safe and sound while they are driving around on their pocket bike.
Anyone that is on a pocket bike needs to wear a helmet and other protective gear. You should make sure that you are wearing knee and elbow pads as well as eye gear. When you are on a pocket bike, you may find that you want to protect your eyes so that nothing gets in them while you are on the go. You should wear these items not only for your safety but also because it is the law.
Ready to ride an electric scooter? Perhaps you’ve already tried it and are ready to buy one. Or maybe you’ve never ridden one but have received an electric scooter as a gift and must now learn how. In either case, you need to learn how to operate an electric scooter safely and responsibly. You don’t want to take your scooter out until you know what to do in most major scenarios that could spell trouble.
When you buy your scooter, look over the accompanying booklet or package directions that tell you how to operate it. You may be able to find helpful information on battery maintenance, air pressure for the tires, and other useful details. If not, visit the manufacturer’s website to see what type of guidelines are offered there for new scooter owners. You also can check at the store where your purchased the scooter to see if there are brochures or verbal suggestions that can help you get used to your new motorized equipment.
The laws of physics work every time for good or for pain; in this case for pain. Good driving technique, mindfulness or knowledge of physics; either of these applied in this moment could have prevented this accident. There are a number of factors contributing to this accident. We will only discuss the physics portion here.
To perform a wheelie the bike must be made to rotate around the center of the axle in the rear wheel. This is done by ove rthrottling and/or help from the driver in terms of shifting the drivers weight to the rear. It will be simpler to look at the case in which only over throttling occurs. The following is a conceptual explanation, not a detailed analysis of forces, vectors, torques etc.
There are many reasons why you might like to sell your motorcycle, and each person has their own reasons. Sometimes insurance can be expensive, or you don’t have room to store your bike anymore. If you are buying, new most dealers will probably take your current bike as a trade-in. There are several different services around to help you determine what your bike is worth so make sure that you have checked this out before you start negotiating a price.
One of the best ways is to sell your motorcycle is on eBay. It is becoming immensely popular, and they offer a great service by allowing you to auction off your bike. A good clear picture is necessary, and make sure that you look at comparable bikes that have been bought and sold to get ideas. Of course remember to let all of your friends know as well that you are selling your bike, as someone may take an interest and purchase it from you.
For a two-stroke engine, having a fresh spark plug is incredibly important. So you should check your plug often.
By “reading” the color of the plug you can tell a lot of things about how the engine is running. The top of a new spark plug is covered in white ceramic insulation. If your engine is running perfectly, then this part of the plug would soon become a tan color. If your plug is grey or white, than you know that your engine is running too lean and you need to take steps to prevent engine damage. First, clean your fuel system, looking for any blockage. Dirt in your carb can cause the bike to run lean. Check your fuel mixture to see if you are mixing the oil and fuel in the correct proportions (50 parts fuel to 1 part oil). There are many factors that can cause an oil and fuel mixture that worked great to become less than ideal. The brand of the gas and the oil as well as air density can affect how well the mixture works.
On the whole, motorcycle owners put more love and care into their machines than do owners of cars or trucks. That “love and care” directly translates into hundreds of dollars spent on customizations and maintenance. Sadly, between 30,000 to 50,000 bikes are stolen each year in the United States alone (based on theft rates from 2000 through 2005). And to think, many of these thefts could have been prevented with a little common sense and security.
Common Sense This should go without saying, but don’t leave the keys in the ignition or the motor running when you’re not on the bike! Never leave your bike in a dimly lit, hard to see location. Put the bike in your locked garage when you are at home.

The Mini Moto is a small scale replica of the World Super Bikes used by the likes of Valentino Rossi and ex champion Carl Fogarty. The Mini Moto comes equipped with either a two stroke air or water cooled engine which are, depending on the model, capable of speeds of up to 60Mph.
In this article I will underline the finer points of the components that make these speeds possible.
There is a lot of confusion about oil in motorcycles. Specially marketed “motorcycle oil” is a lot more expensive than oil sold for cars, but is it really safe to run car oil? Yes, just make sure it meets SG, SH, SJ, or SL service requirements. Generally, you are better off with a heavy-duty oil for motorcycles, such as 15w40, below is a list of oils known to work well in motorcycles:
1. Chevron Delo 400 15w40 2. Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15w40 3. Pennzoil Long-Life 15w40 4. Quaker State 4X4 Synthetic Blend 15w40 5. Shell Rotella-T 15w40 (my personal favorite) 6. SuperTech 2000 (WalMart) 15w40 7. Valvoline All Fleet 15w40 8. Castrol Syntec Blend Truck and 4X4 15w40
