Most recreational vehicles have generators to make electricity to power up the appliances, air-conditioning, television, microwave and other electrical comforts of their portable home. But what they really need is a robust solar powered system to power up their RV. And due to the increases in battery life and solar cell efficiencies it is starting to make a lot of sense. Plus the prices have come down quite a bit also.

You see, I travel full time in an RV (NASCAR or Indy Car Truck Converted) and I can foresee a day when I am totally generator free. Currently I live off the grid and use a combo of sorts of energy. Solar is so excellent however, because it makes no CO2 when there is no wind around and it makes no noise. So, I am VERY pro-solar.

Japanese Cars - Sporty and Sleek

If you are thinking of a car that is sleek, sporty, luxurious or cheap then the right choice is to look for a Japanese car model. Japanese cars are the highest selling cars in the world and are very much in demand. If you are looking for the looks then you can find the most beautiful looking cars and if your main concern is the safety then also these cars are amongst the best available cars in the world. There are different Japanese car manufacturers and amongst the top producers are Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Mazda, Lexus, Subaru, Isuzu, and Daihatsu. Amongst all these car manufacturers, Toyota is on the top of the highest car seller list in Japan. It is not far behind if we take the statistics from the world, as Toyota is rated as the second largest car manufacturer in the world. General Motors is in the top slot for the number one car company in the world. Ford is not far behind from Toyota and few months' back only Ford sales were ahead of Toyota's. In Japan, Honda and Nissan are also close competitors of Toyota.

The trick is to control the high-energy draws of certain appliances and put together a complete package that works. Many of the full-time RV’ers have converted to at least some solar power and some have gone all the way, eventually would like to also. If you own an RV and use it a lot you are very wise to do this and I very much applaud you. Solar Powered Recreational Vehicles are just one way to help break our habit and addiction to Foreign Middle Eastern Oil. So, consider this in 2006.

The Other Side of the Truck Rental Coin

When you say truck rental, the biggest majority of us instantly think of a move it yourself truck rental company such as U-Haul or Budget Truck Rentals. But some of those same companies that you might associate with do it yourself movers also rent over the road semi tractor trailer combinations to individuals and companies who have qualifying CDL licenses. Budget and other companies have what they call commercial rental divisions, where they handle truck rental and leasing to all manner of commercial enterprises. The advantage of leasing truck rather then buying can be substantial to many companies. Many companies need trucks only during particular times of the year, or on special occasions. It might be advantages to some companies to lease or rent trucks for tax purposes, or insurance reasons. For companies that want to make sure that their cargos get handled only by personnel that are qualified, leasing trucks is a big advantage, making sure that drivers are well informed about how to deal with special shipments when loading and unloading as well as while the shipment is in transit.
