The world is in chaos and disorder, too much energy requirement needed to supply the booming economies of the asian countries and other parts of the world. The energy and power needs is in quantum leap which was beyond what was predicted.
The supply for oil is obviously dwindling, like a waterwell has drained, because of the huge demand from the world market. The result, oil prices soar high, much higher due to the conflicts in the middle east which is the main supplier of oil products.

Many attempts are are made in order to suppress such inflation in oil. So far the best ever done was the development of cars that uses alternative fuels like alcohol, biodiesel, electric and even hybrid cars that is fuel effecient.
Ethanol is the best alternative to gasoline, but is currently used as a mixture of 85% alcohol: 15% gasoline often called E85. But new car models are utilising FlexFuel system which effeciently run on pure alcohol or gasoline. Alcohol is made from plant sugar, such as sugarcane and corn.
Biodiesel is intended to replace diesel fuel. Biodiesel is less pollutant and is renewable. It could be produced by processing vegetable oil and animal fats. Many hobbyiest are producing thier thier own biodiesel
But still, the problem is not addressed properly.Power demand is rising, powerplants burning oil and coal producing poisonous gases into the atmosphere.
Can we meditate for a moment.. more power need=more fuel consumption. Why dont we make the first step and ultimate solution to the energy crises problem: ENERGY CONSERVATION, yes for every 50W lamp you turn off in one hour, it would help us save thousands of gallons of oil or hundreds of tons of coal.

The higher the residual value, the lower the lease cost. Residual values are usually expressed as a percentage of MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) -- not negotiated price as many people often believe -- based on length of lease and average mileage. For example, if a vehicle's MSRP is $30,000 and its 36-month residual is 50%, assuming 15,000 miles per year, the dollar value of that residual is $15,000. |
