With both the oxidation and the reduction catalysts present in a single emissions-control product, three-way catalytic converters can efficiently filter out the engine’s exhausts and convert them to less harmful substances.

Because of their importance in controlling emission levels in vehicles, Chrysler catalytic converters have long been used as standard components for Chrysler vehicles.
